Soil Of Ignorance  Embryonic Deformity

Such a stellar band. One week away from a certain someone’s band split seven inch with them going off to the press.

These dudes are crazy mother fuckers in real life. So much fun hanging with them in Quebec last spring.

Amazing. (Just remember in case I die that I play a three piece drum kit not a six like in this picture  and please lower the ride cymbal, how is my zombie corpse supposed to play play blast beats with it all the way up there.)

Christian Troelstrup’s Store, April 1936

“Overstocked with a large supply of men’s spring and winter coats, a clothier in Copenhagen, Denmark, adopted a unique sales scheme. He erected a scaffolding around his store building and completely covered it from roof to sidewalk with more than a thousand overcoats. The novel display attracted prospective customers in such droves that police were summoned. Although the police ordered the proprietor to remove the display, he succeeded in selling all the overcoats.”— Popular Science’s July 1936 Issue

“1936: The Municipality of Copenhagen condemned the building in Møntergade. Christian Troelstrup purchased the corner property at 5 Vester Voldgade which is the current location of the store. As his final goodbye to the property in Møntergade, Christian Troelstrup organised an event one spring day in April. He covered the façade of the property in coats – all five storeys from pavement to roof. The picture, which was taken by a passing American photographer, was published in newspapers all over Europe and in America. In 1940, the picture was published in National Geographic, and is still used from time to time today.”— Troelstrup’s website

If I have one more night of not being able to sleep properly I am going to go have a nap on the train tracks behind my house.

Spending the night watching the X-Files and field recording with Evan.
